Supplying local beef to the local schools!

The Eastern Plains Cowbelles are proud to support the Local Beef in Local Schools initiative, an effort fueled by the commitment of ranching families across Eastern Colorado to nourish the next generation with healthy, locally-raised beef.

Through this program, local ranchers are donating high-quality beef directly to schools in our region, ensuring that students are served nutritious meals made from the very cattle raised in the communities where they live and learn. This initiative not only supports the health and well-being of our children, but also strengthens the connection between local agriculture and local education.

To date, more than 1,700 pounds of beef have been donated to four area schools, thanks to the generosity of Eastern Colorado ranchers who believe in giving back and investing in the future.

At its heart, Local Beef in Local Schools is about community, neighbors feeding neighbors, and ranchers making a real difference one meal at a time.
